“We need a reform of student grants”pleaded Saturday April 30 on franceinfo Quentin Thirot, vice-president in charge of youth affairs of the Federation of general student associations (Fage), on the eve of the May 1 parades. “Today, 30% of people receive scholarships. We would like to reach 50%”, explained Quentin Thirot. The vice-president of Fage also claims “a real framework for student employees” because, according to him “this wage earner causes academic failure”.

Vice-President de la Fage also adds that political leaders “[n’arrivent] not to understand that young people have demands on the climate and their health”. According to him, “It is important to ensure that young people are not forgotten by the Republic.
