Launched in 1996 by a handful of enthusiasts, the Mineral Spirit club is now at a turning point in its history. A change of gear, as was his arrival in the Jean-Bouin hall in the center of Valence in 2012. Because it is this summer that the first part of the climbing city, a vast bouldering room, will open his doors. Thanks to its dynamism and the practice of a discipline that is very popular in the region, this association continues to grow and today has several hundred members, including a few champions. Like one of our guests this Thursday in 100% sports, Samuel Richard, who has a gold medal in the European Cup in bouldering, a title of vice-champion of France in bouldering, and another of regional difficulty champion. He is accompanied by Adeline Muscat, head of sports schools and Jean-Loup Caumont, employee of the association, in charge of the city of climbing project. All three present us with this new structure, the second phase of which, which will include a yoga room, a speed wall and a difficulty wall, will be delivered in November.
