The first list of the Femina prize is revealed

Emma Becker, Miguel Bonnefoy and Gaël Faye found themselves in the first selection of the Prix Femina, unveiled on Tuesday.


The novel by singer-songwriter Gaël Faye, Jacaranda (Grasset), also appears in the first lists of the Goncourt and Renaudot prizes. Last year, it was Neige Sinno who was rewarded for sad tiger (PO L).

On the side of foreign novels, In the evening of Alexandriaby Egyptian writer Alaa El Aswany, and Well-beingby American Nathan Hill, are among the chosen titles.

The second selection will be revealed on the 1ster October and will include the Essay category. Finalists will be announced on October 22 and the winners of the three categories on November 5.
