After Elvis from Baz Luhrmann, here is Priscilla, Sofia Coppola’s latest film. The first excerpt from the biopic devoted to the widow of Elvis Presley is available. On the poster of the film which will be released next October in the United States, the actors Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi who play Priscilla and Elvis respectively. The French release date is still unknown.
In the excerpt, we find the great moments of their relationship – meeting, marriage, the birth of their daughter – as well as the multitude of Elvis fans and the artist’s tours.
“Priscilla’s Story”
The feature film is adapted from the book Elvis and Me: The True Story of the Love Between Priscilla Presley and the King of Rock’n’Roll (Elvis and me: the true story of the love between Priscilla Presley and the king of rock’n’roll) signed by Priscilla Presley and Sandra Harmon and published in 1985. When she arrives on Instagram in October 2022, tells vogue, his first post is dedicated to the project. “Back to work ! I can’t wait to tell Priscilla’s story”she wrote then.
