The United Kingdom has decided to deport to Rwanda anyone who entered British soil illegally. “Our fellow citizens must be surprised to see European judges deciding instead of British judges”, said Thérèse Coffey, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. The United Kingdom paid 140 million euros to Rwanda to convince it to welcome its asylum seekers for five years.
