The police headquarters announces on Twitter Friday, March 31, to open “an administrative investigation” And “seize the public prosecutor of Paris”, after the interview in Cyril Hanouna’s TPMP program broadcast on the C8 channel. We see four hooded people posing as police officers of the Brav-M (brigade for the repression of motorized violent action), to denounce their working conditions. Their voices were also changed during their passage on the channel.
“The first elements suggest that these people do not belong to the Brav-M”, according to the police headquarters, which tweeted to question the membership of these men in this police unit which has been much criticized in recent days. These units are decried for their methods of muscular intervention and are under several legal investigations for violence against demonstrators.
A citizens’ petition has also been launched on the website of the National Assembly to ask for the “dismantling” Brav-M, police units at the heart of criticism. It has already collected more than 220,000 on April 1 with the aim of being the subject of a debate in public session if it collects 500,000 citizen signatures.
