Documentaries, films, podcasts, reading stories… Cortex is a sort of Netflix of health, disability and autonomy. This platform was created by journalist Benjamin Laurent, himself a carrier of a neurodevelopmental disorder.

Its objective: to make information accessible to people with disabilities and to make them visible, while according to an Arcom report in 2021, 0.8% of people present in the media are disabled. This tiny representation is ” the cruellest of exclusions“, explains the founder of Cortex on franceinfo. He reveals that a thousand households have already subscribed to the streaming service.

Benjamin Laurent is Célyne Baÿt-Darcourt’s media guest.
