The final game of the series between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Boston Red Sox was postponed due to bad weather Wednesday evening at Fenway Park.
The score was 0-0 when the match was interrupted at the start of the second inning, after an out. Davis Schneider of the Blue Jays was at first base and Danny Jansen was about to enter the batter’s box.
The game will be resumed on August 26 as part of a doubleheader, at the point where it was interrupted.
The Blue Jays and Red Sox had split the first two games of the series.
