A news that will satisfy the supporters of Nice and Nantes. The final of the French Football Cup, initially scheduled for Sunday May 8 at the Stade de France, has been brought forward to Saturday May 7 at 9:15 p.m., the FFF announced on Saturday March 5 in a press release. This choice “will allow all OGC Nice and FC Nantes supporters to take part more easily in this great football celebration represented by the Coupe de France final”, specifies the Federation in its press release.

The date of May 8 had been set to allow sufficient rest for players participating in the Europa League and Europa League Conference finals, scheduled for May 5. But neither of the two finalists of the Coupe de France is engaged in these European competitions. Only Monaco, beaten Wednesday in the semi-final by Nantes, could be concerned.
