While receiving an excellent critical reception, Stéphane Lafleur’s new film, viking, will be distributed in France. He is also beginning his international career in festivals these days.

The leaders of UFO Distribution have seen viking during its presentation at the Toronto International Film Festival. “We had already been seduced by You sleep Nicoleand Stéphane Lafleur here confirms his singularity and his talent in the artistic direction and the direction of actors”, affirmed the distribution director of UFO, Stéphane Auclaire, in a press release.
“It’s an honor to introduce this film to audiences around the world and especially to French audiences,” declared Anick Poirier and Lorne Price, of Sphère Films International.
Stéphane Lafleur is already a regular on the festival circuit. After being screened at several Canadian festivals, his film has just launched its international career. It was screened at the Namur Festival on October 3 and 4, then it will continue its journey to Hamburg, Warsaw and Philadelphia. It was also selected for the Festival de films comiques de Vevey in Switzerland.
viking has been in theaters in Canada since September 30.
