The French Football Federation (FFF) wants to support the victims of the war in Ukraine. This Wednesday, she announces on her website that she will donate part of the ticketing revenue of the next two friendly matches of the France team, against Côte d’Ivoire in Marseille this Friday and South Africa in Lille next Tuesday, in favor of the victims of the conflict.
In detail, the FFF will donate 1 euro for each ticket sold to UNICEF, the UN organization for children, as part of its humanitarian action in Ukraine.
Jerseys auctioned
In addition, the jerseys worn by the players of the French team against South Africa at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille will be auctioned off. Proceeds from this sale will also be donated to UNICEF.
Finally, the Federation will show its support for Ukraine and its victims by broadcasting a message for peace during the two matches. This tribute will also be witnessed during the two meetings of the France Espoirs team against the Faroe Islands this Thursday and Northern Ireland next Monday, in Calais, at the Stade de l’Épopée.
