The Festival Dé’couvrir in Corrèze mixes music and poetry for its 20th anniversary

This is the return of the intimate festival that combines songs and verses in Concèze in New Aquitaine. Organized until August 16, the meeting allows artists to everything horizon to unveil their creativity.

Finally, after two editions canceled by the health crisis, the Dé’couvrir Festival is making its big comeback in Concèze and its surroundings. The event celebrates music and poetry around six exceptional evenings until August 16th. The opportunity to discover already well-known artists under a new aspect, such as Jil Caplan, interpreter of the tube makeup of the 90s Everything that separates us. This time, the artist reveals herself as a writer, she declaims to the assembly passages from her autobiographical book fire in the cheeks accompanied by a guitarist in sound improvisation. “I was very touched by Jill’s book, it is very surprising. Strangely few books have been made in this genre, each chapter is linked to a song and a passage of his life”, specifies Matthias Vincenot, organizer of the festival.

But the public will also be able to discover during this week of festivities several carte blanche given to artists of all kinds. In Concèze, the actress duo Muriel Combeau and Tatiana Gousseff familiar with the small screen will present their universe, through their favorites and their curiosities. Spectators will also have the opportunity to listen to the melodies of Dutch musician Dick Annegarn. The singer of Brussels designed for the festival a creative hodgepodge around his texts and his compositions.

On the side of Tulle, the poet and accordionist Alain Chapelain will make the public dream with his quite singular work where he handles keys like verses with dexterity. He will share the poster with the group To the little happiness who will thrill the public with their bohemian songs and the heady I want sun. The festival remains as always free but donations are open to support the association.
