Israel’s response to the Iranian attack on Saturday April 13 is long overdue. Iran, like the West, is calling for calm, while the Hebrew State seems to be ready to respond with an assault.
Two days after the drone and missile attack launched by Iran on Israel, one question raises all the concerns: what will be the response of the Jewish state? On Sunday April 14, at the UN, the two countries engaged in a skirmish, with Israel calling for all possible sanctions to be imposed against Iran. For Tehran, its attack is a legitimate response to a strike last April on its consulate in Damascus. A shot attributed to Israel which left 16 dead.
Israel called for restraint
If Iran says the matter is closed, Israel is considering a response. A war cabinet was assembled on the evening of Saturday April 13, while nearly 300 missiles and drones were heading towards the country. They were almost all intercepted over Iraq, Syria and Jordan, with the help of the United States but also of France, as confirmed by Emmanuel Macron. On Sunday, during an exceptional meeting, the members of the G7 said they were ready to take measures against Iran, while calling on Israel to exercise restraint.
