The man who threatened a principal of a high school in Clermont-Ferrand last September was sentenced to three months in prison on Thursday October 26 by the Clermont-Ferrand court, reports France Bleu Pays d’Auvergne. He will also have to complete a citizenship course.
The man was being prosecuted for having threatened the principal of the Ambroise Brugière high school in Clermont by telephone on September 7, after the latter refused access to the establishment to his daughter, who was wearing an abaya; this item of clothing has been banned in schools since the last school year.
According to a witness on the stand, this 44-year-old father said on the phone “I’m going to cut off his head.”comments that he denied on Thursday, October 26.
