The man arrested after the discovery of the bodies of a woman and her four children, in an apartment in Meaux (Seine-et-Marne), was indicted for “murder of a spouse” and “murder of minors under 15 years old”, franceinfo learned in a press release sent by the prosecution, Thursday December 28. The father was presented before an investigating judge, after having admitted all the facts. Alerted by a neighbor on Monday, the police discovered the lifeless bodies of the young woman and four children, aged 9 months, 4 years, 7 years and 10 years, around 9 p.m., in the family apartment. The main suspect was arrested Tuesday morning near his father’s home, in Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis).

Aged 33 and monitored since 2017 for depressive and psychotic disorders, he explained that he “heard voices” asking him to “to hurt”said the Meaux prosecutor on Thursday morning.
