And therein lies the difficulty! And that’s where Jean-François Cros left to write his play. With Caroline and Guillaume, he wants to take the viewer in search of this truth and have fun making her believe that he has finally apprehended her. “But the more the truth becomes clear, the closer we get to it… The further it goes”.
Guillaume, a fashionable writer, shares his life with Caroline. They form a balanced and harmonious couple. When Caroline comes across her latest novel, Le Fantasme, she cannot refrain from questioning. What drives Guillaume to write the story of a fifty-something obsessed with a young 20-year-old? Is it fiction, reality, both? Where is the truth ?
