The middle and high school students, or high school students, of the 2000s, have never forgotten them. Benoît Poher on vocals, Florian Dubos on guitar, his brother on drums, Fabien Dubos, or even Fabien Dubos on guitar. These four young men formed the Kyo group for a long time. A pop-rock group, adored and loved that no one has forgotten. The proof, with the performance of the group this Saturday, June 17 at the Grand Unisson, festival of current music, in Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle.

The proof that, despite the years that have passed, Kyo is still as much loved. And the fans of the first hour were delighted to learn that the artists were going to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album which allowed them to experience a gigantic success.

Cœur de Pirate on a cult song by Kyo

Indeed, 20 years later, a new version of the “Path” will see the light of day as announced by the artists on Instagram. For this announcement, they also revealed that Cœur de Pirate would be working alongside them. “20 years later, Coeur de Pirate did us the honor of recording with us a new version of a title from Le Chemin. Can you guess which one?”.

In the end, it took several days to get the answer. Indeed, Kyo took to his Twitter account to reveal what everyone was waiting for. “We are very happy to announce that the new version of “Dernière danse” in duet with Coeur de Pirate will be released on June 23. Going back to the studio to re-record this track was an unforgettable experience”, announced the group, proud of this new “adventure”.
