We have in Lorraine an impressive slew of famous brothers. We immediately think of the people of Nancy, the Couture brothers, musicians, singers, actors, CharlElie and Thomas, alias Tom Novembre. In a different register, here are the Curien brothers born in Cornimont: Hubert sailed the planet with the title of “father of space Europe”, he was a high-flying scientist, boss of CNES and the European Space Agency , and his brother Gilles was an equally high-flying diplomat; Gilles Curien was notably ambassador to NATO and he is one of the few to have been elevated to the dignity of Ambassador of France.
