The family of Erwan, who disappeared on February 11 in Deux-Sèvres, is launching a “citizen appeal” to try to find the 18-year-old young man, reported Wednesday April 3 France Bleu Poitou. In a message published on social networks, Erwan’s relatives asked all residents of the area to continue looking for clues. They hope to continue the mobilization and thus obtain answers.

“I call on each of you to take an initial citizen mobilization to find Erwan, or a clue that will lead us to him. Within a radius of 10, 20, or even 30 km around La Morinière. I humbly ask each person, in their private or professional activities, to search each space again and again. I invite every resident, walker, hiker, fisherman, hunter […] to check each field, wood, water point […] Erwan is definitely somewhere.” can we read in particular in the message signed by Erwan’s parents, family and friends.

Erwan has not given any sign of life since an evening at a nightclub on the night of Saturday February 10 to Sunday February 11. It was in the parking lot of the La Morinière nightclub in Moncoutant-sur-Sèvre that the young man was seen, alone, for the last time, shortly before 2 a.m., according to video surveillance images. According to France Bleu Poitou, the young man, drunk, was expelled for “inappropriate behavior”. The Niort public prosecutor adds that “his phone was broadcasting until 2:50 a.m.” An investigation for “disturbing disappearance” was opened.

The young man’s relatives are still waiting to meet the investigating judge in charge of the case. They plan to organize a new citizens’ drive at the end of April.
