The Family Allowance Fund is issuing an alert about fraudulent emails that offer you to enter your bank details in order to pay you the inflation bonus: you must not click on the link they contain.

These are messages that look just like official letters. The Family Allowance Fund (Caf) is alerting you this week to fraudulent emails asking you to enter your bank details in order to pay you inflation compensation. This type of scam is happening more and more according to recipients met by France 2.

It is difficult for public authorities to fight against these scams, because they often come from foreign countries. The first instinct to adopt is never to click on the links contained in a suspicious email. A cybersecurity manager also points out that a public service will never ask you for your bank details. You can also send your questionable messages to the Signal Spam platform, which will try to identify the origin of these scams.
