On Wednesday, May 11, final year students discover the tests for the new baccalaureate, which changes configuration this year.
On Wednesday, May 11, the final year students take the baccalaureate. For the first time, they face the specialty test while the sessions of previous years have been disrupted by the Covid-19. “We don’t have any hindsight at all, we don’t know what to expect, neither do our teachers”, says Julie Pinchemel, a final year student. In two days, she will pass two tests which will count for a third of her mark in the baccalaureate. “I am overwhelmed by the programs, which have nothing to do with those I had (…) so I do logistics”explains Karine Pinchemel, his mother, who is trying to help him on this special day.
Each student has their own method: revise until the end or rest. “I precisely prefer to cut the last morning, because otherwise after that I risk making me stress for nothing”, says Antoine Cadalen, a final year student. In France, 523,000 students will pass the baccalaureate.
