Monique Olivier, the ex-wife of Michel Fourniret, is on trial from Tuesday, November 28 before the Nanterre Assize Court (Hauts-de-Seine) for complicity in three kidnapping cases.

The only question
She accompanied investigators to a wooded hill in the Ardennes, where she said she had attended the burial 20 years ago of Estelle Mouzin, raped and murdered by Michel Fourniret. But the excavations turned up nothing. Since the death of the “ogre of the Ardennes” two years ago in prison, Monique Olivier has been the only defendant in these three cases. His trial, scheduled to last three weeks, will be the first in the cold case unit responsible for unresolved cases.
