It’s almost the end of the mask almost everywhere inside. From Monday March 14, it will no longer be compulsory to wear it at work or in supermarkets. the pass vaccination is also suspended.
Monday, March 14 will mark the end of the mandatory mask in shops, classrooms or even at work. “We will finally be able to see smiles, faces, people who are happy”, rejoices an employee. The mask will however remain required in public transport and health establishments. the pass vaccine is also suspended, but it will be replaced by a pass health and will be required in hospitals, nursing home and establishments accommodating people with disabilities.
This easing of measures is possible thanks to the sharp drop in the incidence rate of Covid-19, which has been divided by six in one month. The increase in vaccinations has also made it possible to ease health restrictions. “Before, we had the whole row which was filled with Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, now we only have a small tray”notes a pharmacist. “We hope this is the end of a pandemic”, he confides. Caution is still in order, because France recorded 167 deaths on Thursday March 3 linked to Covid-19.
