It’s the end for Panic! at the Disco. The leader of the American group, Brendon Urie, announced on social networks that from now on he wanted to “put his attention and his energy on his family” and that, therefore, he had to close this chapter of his life.
“Growing up in Vegas, I never could have imagined where life was going to take me. So many places around the world, so many friends met over the years, ”wrote the singer, who will soon become a father for the first time, on Instagram.
The European tour that the group will begin in Vienna, Austria, on February 20, will be its last. It will end on March 10 in the UK.
The pop-rock group, created in 2004, has had great success since its inception with titles like I Write Sins Not Tragedies. After a quieter period during which some members left the formation, Panic! at the Disco returned to popularity in 2018 with their song High Hopes. A year later, Brendon Urie sang a duet with Taylor Swift on the piece ME!.
Panic’s latest album! at the Disco, Viva Las Vengeance, was released in 2022.
