After more than a year and a half, from tomorrow, Monday March 14, the mask will no longer be compulsory in almost all closed places. The vaccination pass will also be suspended.

From tomorrow, Monday March 14, the faces will be revealed. Wearing a mask will no longer be compulsory indoors in most public places. The moment is eagerly awaited for some Toulouse residents. “It’s a real pleasure”, said a man. “There, we can’t take it anymore. Tomorrow I take it off”, rejoiced another. In class, in store or in business, the masks can be removed. “The problem with masks is that we have lost the faces of our customers”deplores a trader, happy with the lifting of this obligation.

However, there are a few exceptions. Wearing a mask will remain compulsory in public transport, hospitals and nursing homes. Another change, the vaccine pass will be suspended from March 14 as well. The QR code will therefore no longer be required at the entrance to restaurants. A hostess is delighted of this time saving. However, according to some experts, it is necessary to remain vigilant in order to avoid a sixth wave. The pass sanitary remains in force in particular for entering medical-socio establishments.
