Government puts pressure on Nestlé

The Caudry site, which had partially reopened in December, notably produced pizzas from the Fraich’Up range, contaminated in 2022 by the E. Coli bacterium, and accused of having poisoned around fifty people, including two children who found the death. Monday, March 13, the Minister of Industry, Roland Lescure, met the leaders of Nestlé, owners of the Buitoni group. The member of the government gave 15 days to Nestlé executives to come back with concrete solutions to preserve jobs.
