The elite of short track speed skating stops in Quebec

The uncertain future of the Beijing Olympics and growing concern over the spread of the Omicron variant were long in the minds of members of the Canadian short track speed skating team on Thursday morning. Fifty days before the opening ceremony of the next Chinese Olympic fortnight, the twelve skaters from Canada’s men’s and women’s teams were light-hearted as they flew over the Gaétan-Boucher ring.
