The Elan Béarnais, play-offs and “wounds down”…

This time the regular season is over. The objective of the play-offs is achieved with the bonus of a Coupe de France, won in front of Strasbourg as everyone knows. We can therefore say that on a sporting level, the Elan Béarnais version CSG (Counterpointe Sport Group), is on the way to becoming again what it should never have ceased to be: a big club.

In terms of governance and the implementation of American projects, led by Greg Heuss on behalf of the CSG, the music is a little different. If the business world is ruthless on both sides of the Atlantic, the rules are very different in Pau and Seattle. This is probably where the shoe pinches. The editing of files requiring more time than expected. And distance doesn’t help. Just like the language barrier. Tom Huston gone, Taqwa Pinero takes over as Managing Director, while waiting for the right man or woman. But he has a poor command of French. And his lack of experience raises questions.
David Bonnemason-Carrère, President of Elan Béarnais, discusses in 100% Club the prospects and what the Elan of tomorrow will be made ofin order to heal what could become “wounds…down”.
