Canceled last year due to the covid-19 outbreak, the Ekiden is back this Sunday in Châteauroux! More than 220 teams are registered to compete in this running event, which is done in relay. The runners will compete on a course of 42.195 kilometers to be covered as a team.
Departure at 9 a.m.
The sending of the Ekiden kicked off at 9 a.m. this Sunday morning, at the Belle Isle Exhibition Hall. The route then goes up in part of the city center of Châteauroux, passing through rue de la Bièvre, rue des Ponts, or even rue des Pavillons. As a result, traffic will be disrupted.
