Raymond Laurent, Rebecca Makonnen and Ethel Bruneau will receive Gala Dynastie tribute awards.
Journalist Raymond Laurent, who hosts the show Inter Saturday airing on CKUT for over 35 years, will win the Grand Prize.
Host Rebecca Makonnen will receive the Icon Prize while legendary dancer Ethel Bruneau will be awarded the Doudou Boicel Prize.
The Gala Dynastie, which aims to reward personalities from black communities in Quebec, will have two award ceremonies.
A first hosted by Naadei Lyonnais on March 30 (for media matters), then another led by Preach on March 1er April at the Théâtre Maisonneuve (for the cultural component).
Three journalists from The Press are also among the finalists, namely Isabelle Massé, Richard Hétu and Marissa Groguhé.
In the other categories, we find in particular the musicians Pierre Kwenders, Corneille and Sarahmée, as well as the author Amandine Gay, Ouri, the filmmaker Miryam Charles, the artist Stanley Juillet and the actor Fayolle Jean Jr.
