The Duceppe Theater announced Monday afternoon the recipients of the fourth edition of the Montreal company’s awards.

The Michel-Dumont Prize for show of the year was awarded to the play Rose and the machine, a creation by Maude Laurendeau, directed by Édith Patenaude, with the author and Julie Le Breton as a duo on stage. The latter also received the Prix Béatrice-Picard (interpretation — Female).
For his part, Simon Lacroix won the Jean-Duceppe prize for his solid performance in the play. Oilby the author François Archambault.
The Duceppe prizes reward the favorites of subscribers for the last season. In addition to the trophy, the 10 winners received a scholarship worth $500.
