The Drômois and the Ardéchois at the Rallye Monte-Carlo 2022

Four Drôme-Ardéchois crews are at the start of the 90th Monte-Carlo rally this Thursday. They are among the 75 crews authorized to start this first round of the WRC world championship. The most experienced is probably Lilian Vialle from Etoile-sur-Rhône which is in its 15th participation. He is teaming up for the eleventh time with Manuel Ghirardello in a new car: a Renault Clio Rally5 acquired last year.

Jerome and Sandrine Aymard d’Erome in the north of the Drôme will compete in their ninth Monte-Carlo rally aboard a Clio R3T. The couple returned to the Monegasque event last year after an 8-year absence. He will start with the number 63.

The Teil pilot, Raphaël Astier competes in this 90th edition at the wheel of an Alpine A110 Rgt prepared by the Gardois Chazel workshops. The Ardéchois teamed up with Frédéric Vauclare from Saint-Péray. In 2017, the two Ardéchois were vice-world champions in WRC3 and they finished 19th in Monte-Carl’.

See you soon 32, Anderson Levratti du Pouzin in Ardèche is going to carry out its 8th Monte-Carlo rally, the 5th with the Swiss driver Olivier Burri. He is also a regular at the event.
