Shouldn’t piss him off. Her previous album “Tour du Monde” had shown her to be wise and rather gentle, charming too, wrapped in warm and woody music with rather reassuring classical accents. But that was before. Before she decides to put her stripping humor at the service of new much more incisive texts!
Helene PIRIS in concert as part of MUSIC AT THE CASTLE, this Thursday November 25 at 9 p.m. in Grignan, in an explosive duo with Florie Perroud on drums.
Born in 1990 in Drôme Provençale, Hélène Piris fell into music from an early age. From the Lycée Camille Vernet in Valence, she began to practice music in a pre-professional way: she wrote music for short films and made her first scenes by singing her songs from the age of 16! She then left to study at the Conservatories of Lyon and Villeurbanne, while continuing to sing her songs in various regional and Parisian venues.
In 2017, she released her first album, “Tour du monde”, colorful and dancing, with the themes of exile, roots, the inner world and its riches.
His new album, “No but we will get out of it”, was released on September 11, 2021.
