The investigation to find a motorist at the origin of an accident which left two lightly injured on Friday, December 10 in Port-Sainte-Foy-et-Ponchat in the Dordogne was rapid. The man who fled shortly after being picked up in the fire ambulance, was found by the gendarmes in Gironde, at his home located in the Sainte-Foy-la-Grande sector. To justify his flight, the man explained to the soldiers that he could not stay put “because he was sick”.
About thirty years old, the individual will be the subject of a subsequent summons to the Vélines gendarmerie in charge of the investigation.
