The man suspected of having killed Antoine Alléno by overthrowing him on the night of Sunday to Monday in Paris was put on trial. He was remanded in custodythe Paris prosecutor’s office told franceinfo on Wednesday May 11.
The 24-year-old was indicted for the counts “manslaughter by the driver of a motorized land vehicle aggravated by the manifest state of intoxication and the invalidation of the driver’s driving license”. He is also accused “involuntary injuries aggravated by the same circumstances, damage, theft with violence and hit and run”.
The driver was already known to the police, wanted to purge “two previous convictions, of six and three months’ imprisonment, pronounced by another court”. That is a total sentence of 9 months’ imprisonment, confirms the Paris prosecutor’s office.

Antoine Alléno is the son of multi-starred chef Yannick Alléno, at the head of the Pavillon Ledoyen in the 7th arrondissement in Paris. They had opened the restaurant Burger Père et Fils, also in the 7th arrondissement, which is closed until further notice.
