the drama which ultimately prevents TF1 from broadcasting this very special season

Want to see Amélie Neten, Capucine Anav or Ayem Nour again wandering around the House of Secrets, looking for clues, answering the red telephone and trying to carry out the missions of the famous Voice? This is now possible since TF1 has put all the dailies and all the bonuses from seasons 1 to 9 online on its TF1+ platform.

Enough to offer hundreds of hours of viewing before the start of season 13, which will kick off next Tuesday April 23 by Christophe Beaugrand. But a season will not be available for aficionados of Secret Story.

Season 3 of the reality TV show, which saw Emilie Nef Naf emerge as the big winner, is in fact unobtainable at the request of a candidate’s family. Because this edition of the confinement show was struck by a terrible tragedy a posteriori: the suicide, in August 2011, of François-Xavier Leuridan, known as FX.

More seasons to come

The emblematic candidate of the season, whose secret was “I am the son of a millionaire”, tragically ended his life by throwing himself under the wheels of a car, two years after leaving the show. François-Xavier had indeed had difficulty recovering from this adventure, but also from his participation in Square Viiipa bitterly unsuccessful reality TV offered by TF1 in 2010. Psychological problems which would not have been taken seriously enough by the production according to his mother, who indicated at the time that she wanted “that Endemol admits its errors: not having seen the distress of [son] son nor having been there when needed.” It is therefore without great surprise that TF1, at the request of the family, decided not to offer this season, as revealed by our colleagues at Leisure TV.

The latter also indicate that seasons 10 and 11, which made Sarah Lopez, Barbara Opsomer and Noré Abdelali known, are currently also unavailable, but are however “being downloaded”. These should therefore appear in the coming days.
