“The Drag in Me”: The Queens of Confidence

“Three merchants of happiness who propel you to the peak of your beauty, both inside and out”: this is how Rita Baga describes the show she is piloting with professional makeup artist Pétula Claque and hairdresser and stylist Sasha Baga , all three drag queens. Bursting with energy, but above all with confidence, this trio has all the qualifications and all the enthusiasm required to help anyone improve their image and love themselves more.

Whether it’s a mother whose life has turned upside down in recent years or a man who wants to take ownership of his body after a transition, drag queens take up the challenge with joy. Although it may seem superficial at first glance, the program actually has a very noble mission: to improve the self-esteem of the participants. Although it is done in the eccentricity, the topics covered, such as disease and sex changes, are nonetheless important. The drag in me thus constitutes a beautiful showcase for promoting openness to others.

Quite light, the issue is consumed in no time. The short duration of the episodes, about twenty minutes, allows us to witness the ultra-rapid transformation of a person. Hair, makeup, clothes: it’s all there. But according to the candidates, it is above all the experience with drag queens that is important. You have to give them that, they give quite a show with their colorful and extravagant outfits.

The drag in me is ultimately a very nice show, just like its hosts.
