It was by an e-mail sent Wednesday that he learned the news of his early departure from his team. It had only been seven months since he had taken over the management of military intelligence, which reports to the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

According to a source familiar with the matter, the army staff accuses him of “lack of mastery of subjects” and “insufficient briefings”.
