Izioumin eastern Ukraine, is a martyr city among many others. The Russians occupied it for five months. The city was liberated a few weeks ago, during the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian army. Before the war, Izioum had 45,000 inhabitants. Today, among the ruins, there are only a few thousand. They want to stay and rebuild their lives.

At the entrance to the city, a bridge was cut in two. The infrastructure was destroyed by Russian forces before their retreat. Its repair has begun. The bridge is essential to cross the river, and supply Izioum. To Izioumalmost everything needs to be repaired, which is not easy when the means are lacking.
