In Gaza, two newborn twins were killed on Wednesday, August 14, along with their mother and grandmother while their father was on his way to register their birth.
The suffering of a father that nothing can console: exhausted, he collapses in the arms of his loved ones because the pain is unbearable. His wife, a doctor of pharmacy, and his two newborns died a few hours earlier after a strike. The babies were three days old, their father had only left his house for a few moments to declare their birth. “These are the birth certificates. While I was collecting them, I got a call saying our apartment had been targeted.”says the father in tears. Their accommodation was located on the top floor of a building.
Today, the man has found refuge in a camp a few kilometers from his former home. Added to the distress is incomprehension. His wife had no connection with military activity according to him. Until her seventh month of pregnancy, she was a volunteer in Gaza hospitals.
