“It is very important that we have a strong opposition in the National Assembly and it is the deputies of the National Rally who can embody it”declared on franceinfo Thursday April 28 one of the spokespersons of the party Julien Odoul, referring to “the legislative battle”. Earlier this Thursday, Marine Le Pen declared herself a candidate for re-election in her constituency of Pas-de-Calais.
“Today, the real risk for our democracy is that Macron has all the powers”he explained, calling “all patriotic voters who do not want authoritarian and omnipotent Macronism to mobilize because victory is possible”. The party has no objective for the moment, but hopes “the greatest number of deputies possible to resist Emmanuel Macron’s anti-social steamroller”.
Julien Odoul ruled out the question of an alliance with the Reconquest party! of Eric Zemmour, regretting the invectives of the candidate against Marine Le Pen on the evening of the second round. “When you want to form an alliance, the least you can do is to have respectful words, but it is the voters who decide”he said, assuring that the party will present candidates “everywhere in France”.
He also attacked the leader of La France insoumise Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who dreams of becoming Prime Minister after the legislative elections. “He is not at all believable”he attacked, because he has “refused to block” to Emmanuel Macron, according to him. “The only deputies who will resist will be those of the National Rally”.
