Several victims. Two prison officers died in the attack, and three others were seriously injured. The vital prognosis of two of them is engaged.
A prisoner on the run. The van was transporting Mohamed Amra, aged 30, to be heard by an investigating judge at the Rouen judicial court. “His accomplices fired on the escorts with heavy weapons,” clarified the Minister of Justice during his press briefing. He was a particularly closely monitored detainee, specifies the Paris prosecutor’s office. He was serving a sentence in connection with a “burglary”. He is also indicted for “kidnapping and sequestration resulting in death”.
