In recent months, Alain Delon has been less talked about for his acting career, but for family matters. The actor, who died on Sunday, August 18, found himself at the heart of a major public, media and legal scandal, against a backdrop of fratricidal war between his own children.
A family that is torn apart by the press, this is the image sent back since the beginning of the year with a conflict between the three children of Alain Delon. However, in the summer of 2023, Anthony (the eldest), Anouchka (the favorite) and Alain-Fabien (the youngest) were still united to have the actor’s companion, Hiromi Rollin, evicted from their father’s house in Douchy in Loiret. They accused her of taking advantage of Alain Delon’s weakness. In return, Hiromi Rollin had filed a complaint against them. The two investigations were closed without further action.
Since then, it is between the children that a real conflict has developed, around the state of health of Alain Delon and the way of taking care of the star, seriously ill. Children who have returned blow for blow. There is talk of medical tests whose results were hidden, of the Swiss doctor of the actor who no longer has access to his patient, of clandestine recordings of conversations between Alain Delon and Anouchka… On this last point, a trial for invasion of privacy is planned for 2025. In the middle of all this, lawyers of whom it is difficult to know if they are the self-proclaimed or official defenders of the actor.
The children also disagreed over the medical follow-up to be provided to their father. On the legal level, it was then a question of knowing if Alain Delon was sufficiently autonomous to decide what was good for him. The justice system was then contacted, medical assessments were carried out, the actor was placed under judicial protection and then, at the beginning of April, under reinforced guardianship. Alain Delon’s lawyer decided not to appeal, to trust the representative appointed by the judge.
Some are recent, such as when, in the middle of winter 2024, the police discovered numerous firearms, 72 in all, undeclared, as well as a private shooting range on Alain Delon’s property. The prosecutor ended up closing the case without further action.
There was also a private case, but made public: that of a man, Ari Boulogne, who died in 2023 at the age of 60, whose paternity Alain Delon never acknowledged. Ari Boulogne’s daughter requested a genetic test from the Swiss courts to find out whether or not she was the granddaughter of the actor, whose fortune is estimated at 300 million euros.
Other cases are much older. In particular in 1968, when Alain Delon’s right-hand man, Stevan Markovic, was found murdered in the Yvelines: the news item would turn into a state affair. Alain Delon often associated with men identified by the police as belonging to organized crime, for example the Hornec clan, figures of Parisian crime.
