The Dashing Cowboys | The new album with the voice of Karl Tremblay will be released soon

Musician Marie-Annick Lépine, widow of Cowboys fringants singer Karl Tremblay who died last fall, announces that the recording of the group’s new album is now finished and that it will probably be released next April.

In a communication sent Thursday evening on social networks, the violinist of Cowboys fringants, who is also a multi-instrumentalist, wrote: “A tired little mother has just played the last note of our posthumous album. »

Mme Lépine added that this record is “so moving” and that it was the most difficult to complete in the entire career of the famous Quebec musical group.

Before his death on November 15 at the age of 47, Karl Tremblay sang for this album. His performances were recorded and can be heard when the album goes on sale.

On this subject, Marie-Annick Lépine points out that having worked and having practiced musical arrangements with the voice of her partner which resonated in her house was really not easy.

“But what a performer!” It will be impossible to replace,” she added.

Marie-Annick Lépine and Karl Tremblay had two children.

Jérôme Dupras and Jean-François Pauzé are the other members of the Cowboys Fringants.

The death of Karl Tremblay caused great sadness among Quebecers. A national tribute ceremony took place in front of approximately 14,000 people on November 28 at the Bell Center in Montreal.
