Two sisters have been arrested in the North for illegally injecting botox. Without any training, they offered their services on social networks using unlicensed products. In all, there would be nearly 600 victims.
In 2021, a 53-year-old man decided to rejuvenate his features with botox and hyaluronic acid. But the intervention turned to cauchemar. “There were abnormal swellings”, he says. “I had headaches and vomiting, more we advanced and the more it deteriorated, the worse it was”. The 50-year-old was the victim of two sisters who presented themselves as doctors.
An upcoming trial
Alerted on social networks, the gendarmes investigate for four months and end up arresting the two women, in full intervention. At home, they discover 14,000 euros in cash and many obluxury jets. They seized a hundred vials of botox and hyaluronic acid, of foreign origin, expired and non-compliant. From, 26 complaints have been filed against the two sisters. A between them was flatremanded in custodytheir trial will take place on August 17 in Valenciennes.
