Living with Parkinson’s disease is the daily life of 200,000 French people. Portrait of a former figure of France 3, Jean-Pierre Descombes, who agreed to testify.

Troublemaker of the “20h Games” in the 70s and 80s, Jean-Pierre Descombes laughs today at his antics of the past. He continues to organize games at home, despite the illness. “Sometimes I do small parties, and sometimes I am invited to a party committee. The disease is gaining ground

“It’s a life that is very different from one person to another. Some have tremors, I don’t tremble. Some, including me, have problems walking, balance. And important, for me this which is more serious is that I move my head“, he explains. Resolutely active, he commits himself with enthusiasm to work that requires attention. In ten years, the disease has gained ground. He takes his medication every day at a fixed time. His family l surrounds with affection If writing has become difficult, Jean-Pierre Descombes continues to play with words.
