On April 14, the Constitutional Council had already dismissed a first request.

For the National Secretary of the Communist Party, there is “need to write a Constitution, for a new Republic, which respects the people”. The deputy from the North wants to modify the Constitution to facilitate access to the shared initiative referendum: “Let’s allow our citizens to have access to a popular, citizen referendum to repeal an enacted piece of legislation.”
