“The thermal renovation of housing is really a priority”, said the Minister Delegate for the City and Housing Olivier Klein on Tuesday July 12 on France Inter. It expresses its desire to maintain on 1 January next the ban on the rental of “thermal strainers”i.e. energy class F and G dwellings.
“You have to have this voluntarism and this voluntarism, I will have it”assures Olivier Klein. “Yesterday, in committee at the Assembly, there were some who said that we had to slow down, others that we had to speed up. I think the current timetable is the right one”he adds.
“It’s important that we stick to this schedule,” says Olivier Klein (@OlivierKlein93) about the ban on the rental, from next January 1, of “thermal colanders”. It concerns at least 5 million homes.#le69inter pic.twitter.com/aAD8Ss0d27

The Minister Delegate also affirms his desire to build social housing, a subject on which “we have fallen behind”, he laments. “At the current rate, it would take more than a hundred years to house everyone if we keep the current rate of allocation and demand. So we have to go faster,” says the mayor of Clichy-sous-Bois.
