The curfew is maintained in some municipalities until Tuesday, December 7.

Taking into account the situation on the ground, the Regional Prefect has chosen to extend the curfew in force in certain municipalities. With the exception of Anse Bertrand, Saint-Claude, Trois Rivières, Vieux Fort and Vieux Habitants, the curfew is maintained in all other municipalities

The differentiated extension of the curfew is first and foremost a pragmatic response to the situation and to take into account the places in the archipelago where activists continue to disrupt, day or night, public safety and road safety. For Alexandre Rochatte:

the continuation of disturbances to public order in certain communes of Guadeloupe with, in particular, the arrest of armed individuals, the persistence of gatherings intended to block the traffic routes, fires of dams

are the main reasons for this extension.

The curfew will therefore be in effect in Abymes, Baie-Mahault, Baillif, Basse-Terre, Bouillante, Capesterre-Belle-Eau, Deshaies, Gosier, Gourbeyre, Goyave, Lamentin, Morne-à-l’Eau, Le Moule , Petit-Bourg, Petit-Canal, Pointe-à-Pitre, Pointe-Noire, Port-Louis,
Saint-François, Sainte-Anne, Sainte-Rose.

It is established in these municipalities from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. until Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 5 a.m.

Another differentiation, now, people intervening for public service missions, assistance to people requiring care, supplying shops, trips related to professional activity and people justifying that their trip is linked to medical or family necessities, are no longer subject to compliance with the curfew.

Finally, the sale of gasoline in jerry cans remains prohibited throughout the Archipelago with the exception of the Southern Islands.
