8:15 p.m. : Police forces and journalists were targeted by gunfire last night in Martinique, where violence left ten officers injured and sparked a strong reaction from the government. About ten arrests took place, according to Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin.
3:18 p.m. : The journalists’ companies of the editorial staff of RMC, RMCSport and BFMTV denounce “with the greatest force the shots targeting their team in a report in Martinique”, last night. “These actions are not tolerable. Witnessing events on the ground is our job, our freedom.”
12:36 : In addition to the ten police officers slightly injured in Martinique, a police officer who intervened with his colleagues on a burglary, was violently struck by the vehicle of the looters last night, announces the parquet floor of Fort-de-France. He is seriously injured.

Four journalists came under fire from men riding motorcycles on a deserted street in Fort-de-France last night, while they were filming and taking photos a good distance from a dam on fire.
12:23 : A policeman was wounded in the arm by gunfire from a roadblock erected in Fort-de-France, while another received an impact which lodged in his bulletproof vest. Three RAID police officers were targeted by shots fired during an intervention on a roadblock. Five others were injured by projectiles, police said.
